You might recognise

Experiences that may bring people to therapy

  • You are autistic, ADHD, or wondering whether neurodivergence helps explain your experiences.
  • Masking, people-pleasing, or trying to fit in has become exhausting.
  • Burnout, shutdown, anxiety, or disconnection are affecting daily life.
  • You want to understand your needs without shame or self-blame.
  • Relationships, work, or identity feel shaped by years of adapting to environments not designed for you.

How therapy can help you explore this

Therapy can provide a reflective space to make sense of neurodivergent experience, including the emotional impact of masking, late identification, burnout, and feeling misunderstood.

The work can support self-understanding, language for your needs, and a more compassionate relationship with the ways you think, feel, and relate.

How I work

Suzy offers a client-led, affirming approach that can draw on psychodynamic, CBT, somatic, and trauma-informed ideas. The focus is on curiosity and understanding rather than pathologising who you are.

Sessions can include exploring patterns, body responses, relationships, boundaries, and practical ways to notice what supports you.
